Child Development Center
Los Alamitos is one of seven elementary schools in the San
Jose Unified School District with a school age, on site Child Development
Center. The center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00
p.m. The CDC has both full day and half day programs. Drop-in care is
not available. A day camp program is offered during the summer.
The
Los Alamitos School Age CDC is operated by Continuing Development Incorporated
(a nonprofit company) through a contract with the school district. The
center is licensed by the State of California, and each staff member meets or
exceeds California state standards. The ratio of staff to children is kept
at 1:14 or less.
You'll find the center near the playground in the southeast corner
of the school.
