Art Room Supplies - A Few Basic Rules
We as fellow volunteer docents need to support and respect each other. Please follow the basic rules listed below">
- Clean up after yourselves.
- Do not waste supplies.
- Do not open new tempera, jazz tempera, or glaze before using pre-used paints.
- Please wipe off lids of all paint so that docents following can easily open them.
- Teach children the correct way to use paint brushes.
- Do not let paintbrushes stand in water.
- Please wipe off counters, clean up the sinks, and wipe off cups, etc.
- Do not put clay, glue, or other material in the sinks that will clog them up.
- Do not use spray paint in the art room - we are connected by air ducts to the Kindergarten classrooms.
- Please put the prints back where you originally found them. This is very important because some of the prints are used for more than one grade.
- If you leave pre-cut paper or other supplies in the art room for your next art lesson, please write your name on it so that someone doesn't accidentally use it or put it away.
- If you use the last of a certain item, please write it on the white board on the refrigerator so we can order more.
We will be able to do a better job, and the art room will stay neat and tidy if we follow the above instructions. If you have any questions please contact the supply room coordinator.
