School Supplies
2008 - 2009

All pre-ordered school supply packets will be available for pick-up from 4pm to 6pm on the Friday & Monday before school starts in the Old Music Room (off of the cafeteria). The packets contain everything needed for your child's specific grade level except a backpack.

All packets not picked up will be in your child's classroom for the first day of school.

These are basic supply lists for each grade level.  It is helpful if your student has all of his or her supplies on the first day of school.

Note: These lists might be updated throughout Summer. Please check this page in August.

Emergency Kits
(due in September)

To provide the safest possible environment for our children in case of disaster, we are asking all parents or guardians to provide an emergency kit for each child.

  1. Water in plastic bottle. Please do not include carbonated drinks or beverages in glass containers

  2. A non-perishable food item requiring no refrigeration or heating. Some suggestions: pull-top fruit or pudding cup, beef jerky, dried fruit, granola bar.

  3. A small comfort item such as a stuffed animal, family picture, book or personal note.

  4. Emergency poncho - Available at Sportmart or Target (and others) for approximately $2.00 (or plastic garbage bag) for protection from rain or cold.

  5. Emergency thermal blanket - Available at Sportmart or Target (and others) for approximately $3.00.

  6. Name Tag with your child's name, teacher and room number written on it.  Please use a 3 x 5 index card and attach a safety pin to it.

All items should fit into a large zip lock bag.  Do not send large items, flashlights or radios.  You might want to include tissues or moist wipes.

If you can donate any extra supplies for those children who may be without this necessity, please label as "extra" and package them separately (preferably in a zip lock bag).
