Our Staff
We believe in a life-long love of learning, the pursuit of excellence, encouragement of
creative and critical thinking, individual and collaborative problem-solving, and
appreciation and acceptance of diversity.
Our new teachers are carefully recruited, screened and interviewed by a representative
team of teachers and principal. Support within the school community is given by
established colleagues, grade level teams and the principal during their first years of
teaching. For example, grade level teams meet weekly to plan curriculum, share teaching
strategies, instructional materials, and resources. Teachers willingly participate in
peer-coaching and peer-observation activities to learn from each other and to work
collaboratively for the benefit of students.
Our teachers have energy and and enthusiasm, coordinate skillfully with each other, and
welcome parent participation.
